As many of you know, my Father was diagnosed last year with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). My family has been fighting this disease every step of the way. Now we are trying to raise money in hopes of finding a cure and treatment for this horrible disease. On May 17, 2008, there is a "Walk and Roll" benefit in Sparks, Nevada to raise money for the patients in the state of Nevada. This money not only goes to research, but it also helps the families in Nevada that need support (medical equipment, hospice, ect.) in their homes to survive and live a somewhat normal life.
Since this fundraiser is in Sparks, we will be able to take my father. He is in a wheelchair now and has a hard time moving around. But with this being so close to my parents home and the support of everyone going with us, he will be able to share in this amazing experience. We are setting up a team in honor of my father. Our team will be called "The Mack Pack". We would love all the support we can get. If you want to donate money, please write your checks payable to "ALS of Nevada". Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my new blog. I will be updating all the time with new pictures and new news.

Hi my bestest friend in the whole wide world! I am so happy you started your blog, it's so good to see pictures of you and the fam!
I SO wish I would be able to come down to be part of the "Mack Pack"! But, I might just have to participate as an honorary member since I will hopefully just have given birth to baby Taylor! So, know that you and your family are always in our thoughts and we love you!
AWWWWW...I miss your family so much! I wish I could be there for your "Mack Pack". Everyone looks so great. I am so glad that you got some pictures up somewhere! You look beautiful as always.

Hello my beautiful cousin from sunny southern California. Cuz Becky flew in from Dallas last night (with assistance from American Airlines)and is asleep in my bedroom with a migrane. Too much "family time" for her.
It was just a fluke that I checked my old email address. My current one is ckramer@pitzer.edu or cramoskramer@gmail.com
As you know Bec and Jer will be there for you for the walk. I am in school now and all summer and will have that all important piece of paper that says "B.A. - Political Studies" in August.
I am going to try and ditch work and school and do a road trip for your Dad.
We love you Janna!
Please give our love to your Mom and Dad for us!
